Would you like to wake up with baby-soft skin? That’s the promise of Erborian’s Skin Therapy Multi-Perfecting Night Serum. I’ve tested it, and I’m here to share my thoughts on this new product.
Renowned for its ultra-effective products inspired by Korean expertise, Erborian has recently expanded its Skin Therapy line. Following the Multi-Perfecting Oil (which sells every two minutes worldwide!), we now welcome the lotion-like multi-perfecting serum. This bi-phased night treatment boasts multiple benefits that become apparent after the very first night, as well as over time. It encourages us to revamp our evening beauty routine to enjoy its effects and watch our skin transform with each passing night.
The Brand’s Promise
Erborian needs no introduction, as its products are highly sought after around the globe. The goal of this Franco-Korean cosmetics brand? To help us care for our skin and rediscover it. For beautifully refined skin during the day, Erborian offers numerous BB and CC creams suitable for all skin types. Recently, the brand has also introduced nighttime cosmetics with its Skin Therapy line, which features ultra-concentrated treatments packed with super ingredients to help achieve a flawless complexion. Among the new releases for 2025 is the multi-perfecting night lotion serum—a bi-phased treatment that is lighter than the oil in the same line and primarily targeted towards normal, combination, and oily skin types or those who prefer lightweight textures.
Like its predecessor, this lotion-like serum works comprehensively on the skin to enhance 7 aspects: texture, radiance, suppleness, firmness, evenness of tone, appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and hydration of the epidermis. With 17 plant extracts (including centella asiatica, ginseng, yuzu, and red pepper), allantoin, and hyaluronic acid, it shows results from the very first night and day after day. After 28 days of use, fine lines are reduced by 35%, and 94% of testers report that their skin looks clearer with fewer imperfections.
Our Test of the Skin Therapy Multi-Perfecting Night Lotion Serum by Erborian
Product Discovery
The serum comes in a clear glass bottle with a yellow tint, showcasing its two layers—the creamy part on top and the more aqueous part below. With a pipette cap for easy application, its transparent packaging that reveals everything is quite appealing, in line with the brand’s philosophy.
Application Process
First things first, a thorough cleansing of the skin is essential to remove any impurities or traces of makeup from the day. Once that’s done, it’s time to apply the serum. Begin by giving the bottle a gentle shake to mix the two phases and create a lovely creamy texture. It’s then easy to dispense the right amount with the pipette. While some prefer applying the product directly on the skin, I personally like to put a few drops in my hands first, rub them together gently, and then apply the serum all over my face and neck.
I was very pleased with the light texture. While the oil left a shiny and greasy finish on my skin, the lotion-like serum is quickly absorbed, leaving my skin feeling soft and fresh without any greasy residue. The delicate floral scent is also a nice touch for nighttime and not overwhelming before bed.
Our Opinion After Testing
Did this serum deliver results on my skin from the very first application, as promised? Yes, it did! I have sensitive (and combination) skin and often wake up feeling tight. However, after my first use, those sensations were gone. My skin felt soft and soothed.
The effects have continued to improve over the nights, with noticeable reduction in redness, a brighter and more even complexion, and a sense of suppleness. Fortunately, I have few wrinkles, so I can’t comment much on that front, but I did observe a significant improvement in my skin’s overall appearance.
Erborian’s expertise is evident in this lotion-like serum, which fulfills all its promises and serves as a cozy treatment that effectively caters to combination and oily skin, providing a real transformation with gentleness.
One downside, however, is the rather high price. The 30ml bottle is priced at €49.90, while the 10ml bottle costs €22.90. Even though it’s worth it, quality and effectiveness come at a cost with Erborian.
Nonetheless, this Skin Therapy Multi-Perfecting Night Lotion Serum is a wonderful discovery that I recommend. It proved effective quickly and with lasting results, is relatively easy to incorporate into a beauty routine (either in place of or in addition to your night cream), and I’m a huge fan of its light, fresh scent. This night treatment has undoubtedly become a staple in my evening beauty ritual.
